Add flair to your cooking by using a wok, specially designed to toss and sizzle your ingredients over a high heat. Although usually referred to as a stir fry pan, woks are a versatile piece of cookware that can stir fry veggies, shrimp, tofu and meats like chicken, beef and pork. You could even use a wok to whip up a quick but tasty rice dish or paella.
How to season a wok
Seasoning is crucial when using a carbon steel or cast iron wok. However, our non-stick woks are pre-coated and don’t require seasoning. If your wok needs seasoning, apply a thin layer of oil on the inside of the wok using a paper towel and heat the oil over a medium heat until it starts to smoke. Let the wok cool down, wipe off excess oil and repeat the process 2-3 times to build a protective layer.
