Lagerita Recipe
Combining tequila, Cointreau, lime juice and Mexican beer, the lagerita is best enjoyed with plenty of ice and on a hot summer afternoon.
Simple, easy but a true delight for those who enjoy beer but want something a little extra. Can be enjoyed alone, with friends or served for special occasions like Father’s Day!

Ingredients
60ml tequila
10ml Cointreau
120ml Modelo Especial beer, or your chosen Mexican beer
30ml lime juice
Salt, to rim
Lime slice, to garnish
What you'll need...
Method
1. Coat the rim of a highball or beer glass with salt, fill with ice and set aside.
2. Add the tequila, Cointreau and lime juice to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake until chilled.
3. Strain into the prepared glass.
4. Top with your chosen Mexican beer and gently stir so it doesn’t lose its fizz.
5. Garnish with lime if you wish.
