Our set of 2 Nami knives is perfect for completing a whole host of kitchen tasks and includes a 17.5cm santoku knife and 16cm nakiri knife. The santoku knife benefits from a scalloped blade which reduces friction when cutting through food and allows the food to fall away from the blade. Whilst the nakiri knife is perfect for slicing, dicing and chopping through vegetables with ease and can also crush garlic or nuts with its wide blade.
Expertly crafted from X30 stainless steel, our Nami knife range boasts a striking appearance and is perfect for those who appreciate stylish tools in their kitchen. The name ‘Nami’ translates to ‘wave’ in Japanese, inspired by the distinct, wave-like appearance of the blade.
Drawing inspiration from traditional Japanese techniques, the unique texture of the blade has been embossed and carefully oxidised to enhance both its distinct look and visual appeal.
Each and every knife in the range has been polished by hand, showcasing the excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail that goes into every detail of the knife.
Made from pakkawood, the triple rivet handles offer comfort, durability and are perfect for everyday use. The red stripes running through the centre of the handle contributes even further to its distinct look.
The composition of the stainless steel we use in this range is referred to as X30Cr13 denoting the use of X30 stainless steel, containing 0.3% carbon for outstanding edge retention and 13% chrome for high corrosion resistance.
