Using your Digital Thermometer
1. Before using the thermometer, peel the protective film off from the front panel.
2. To begin, unfold the probe and insert into your food, the LCD screen will immediately display the temperature. The default display units are Fahrenheit. To change to Celsius simple press the 'C/F' button.
3. Remove the probe from the food and press the 'HOLD' button. This will hold the temperature reading until the button is pressed again.
4. To display the minimum or the maximum temperature, push the 'HOLD' button for 3 seconds. It will firstly display the saved maximum temperature, press the 'HOLD' button again to display the saved minimum temperature.
5. To light the LCD screen, press the light button. It will turn off after 5 seconds.
Calibrating the temperature
To calibrate the temperature, add ice into fridge-cold water, insert the probe into the water and touch the ice under the water. Once you get the final temperature, hold down the 'CAL' button for 5 seconds. The screen will display 'CAL', then flash the digits. Use the 'C/F' button to increase the digit or the 'HOLD' button to decrease the digit until you reach 0°C or 32°F. After several seconds the display will show the reading again.

Maintenance and cleaning
Wash the metal probe in soapy water. Sterilise the metal probe by inserting it into boiling water for several minutes. Clean the housing with a damp cloth. Not dishwasher safe. Clean after each use. .
