Uncoated pans are the preferred choice for professional chefs easily handling high cooking temperatures. Uncoated pans are ideal for searing, browning and charring all meats, fish and vegetables, producing delicious caramelised flavours and aromas and whilst keeping the inside tender. For a bit of theatre in the kitchen they can even be used to flambé food as the flames won't damage the pan.
All the saucepans feature heat resistant toughened glass lids with sturdy stainless steel rims for easy viewing, and robust 18/10 stainless steel handles with CoolTouch® technology for safer handling while the pan is on the hob*.
The entire Professional Stainless Steel range is suitable for all hob types including induction, and is suitable for use in the oven up to 260C. Washing up is easy and the whole range is dishwasher safe.
*Handles will get hot in oven or on high gas flame.

Getting the most from your Professional Stainless Steel Cookware
Step 1: Wash the cookware thoroughly
Wash before first use.
Each piece in the range is dishwasher safe so cleaning is easy, or alternatively wash in hot soapy water with a soft brush or nylon pad
Step 2: Cooking with Professional Stainless Steel
Some pieces in the Professional Stainless Steel range feature 5 star ProCook Ultra Plus triple layer PFOA free non-stick coating for amazing stick free cooking. Do not use metal utensils on the non-stick surface as this can damage the coating. We advise using nylon, silicone or wooden utensils for best results.
Do not expose to oven temperatures greater than 260C
Extra special care should be taken on both induction and ceramic hobs not to move pans around once placed on the hob to prevent possible scratching. Scratched hobs are not covered by your ProCook guarantee.
Some tips for cooking on induction hobs
Induction hobs can deliver extremely high heat outputs, often at double or triple times that of a typical gas hob. Therefore, extra care must be taken to reduce the heat setting as excessive heat will damage the pan and this may not be covered by your guarantee.
Only use high heat or boost settings for boiling large quantities of water (e.g. for pasta).
Reduce the heat setting as soon as the desired temperature has been achieved.
Do not use the boost setting to heat oil or fat.
Never heat an empty pan - the high output from an induction hob may damage the pan which is not covered by the guarantee.
h3> Some tips for cooking with uncoated stainless-steel cookwareAs uncoated stainless-steel can withstand a higher heat than a non-stick pan you may need to use more oil during cooking to avoid burning or sticking.
We recommend using oils with a HIGH smoke point such as refined olive oil, peanut oil or corn oil.
We do not recommend using low fat cooking sprays with uncoated pans on a high heat as this can cause an invisible film to bond to the surface which is very difficult to remove and may impair the performance of your pan.
Follow the specific guidelines for using your hob when cooking on a high heat, as some hob types such as induction are significantly more powerful than others and this may damage your pans.
Step 3: Cleaning those difficult bits
If there are any burnt-on-bits on pans, soak the pan in hot soapy water to loosen then wash as normal
Do not use steel wool or metal pads as they will scratch the surface of the cookware. Although they will not damage how the pan functions, they may affect the general aesthetic of the cookware.
By following these guidelines your cookware will last for many years of happy use and will keep your guarantee intact.
