Homemade bread has never been easier with our air fryer bread recipe. Our recipe only requires four ingredients and is no knead for extra ease.

Unbelievably delicious, people won’t believe it was baked in your handy air fryer. Make sure to use an air fryer with a deep shelf, allowing room for rising.

What you'll need...

  • 185g all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp instant yeast
  • 175ml water, room temperature

Method

  1. In a mixing bowl, add the flour, instant yeast, salt and water. Use a spatula to mix well until fully incorporated. The dough will become sticky.

  2. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and leave it to sit on your kitchen counter or inside an unheated oven for 2 to 3 hours, allowing your dough to double in size.

  3. Preheat the air fryer to 200C and place a round pan or springform cake tin into the air fryer basket.

  1. Flour your hands and sprinkle extra flour over the dough. Remove the dough from the bowl and roughly shape it into a ball. Place the ball-shaped dough on top of parchment paper, transfer into a bowl and cover with a dry, clean tea towel until the pan has been preheated.

  2. Once the air fryer is preheated, carefully remove the pan from inside and lift the parchment paper holding the dough, placing it into the tin. Score the top of the dough with a sharp knife to prevent cracking. Cover the tin with aluminium foil, tightly sealing the edges before placing back into the air fryer basket. Shut the lid and allow to bake.

  3. Bake the bread for 20 minutes before opening the air fryer and removing the foil. Close the air fryer and allow to bake for a further 10 minutes or until golden brown. Once removed and cool enough to touch, turn the bread upside down and tap. If it sounds hollow, this means its cooked through.
