What you'll need...

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • ½ tbsp rapeseed oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp garlic granules
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 ½ tbsp mixed herbs

Method

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 180C if required.

  2. Coat the chicken breasts in oil and set aside.

  3. In a bowl, combine the salt, pepper, mixed herbs, paprika and garlic. Dip each oiled chicken breast in the seasoning – you can leave it to marinate for longer if you desire.

  1. Once coated, put the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket, ensuring that they do not touch or overlap. Cook at 180C for approximately 20 mins, making sure to turn them with tongs after 10 mins. Check whether the chicken is cooked by either cutting through the thickest part and checking if the juices are running clear or inserting a temperature thermometer (it should read 70C).

  2. Remove and serve with the rest of your meal!
