Easy

Cook halloumi in the air fryer for a healthier alternative to grilling. We’ve sprinkled smoked paprika for a subtle earthy and smokey flavour, but you can pair it with anything you wish.

Simply place in the air fryer and once the halloumi is cooked fill pitta breads or wraps, top salads or dunk into a chilli and lime yoghurt dip. Due to its ease, air fryer halloumi is great for brunch, lunch or dinner.

What you'll need...

  • 6 slices of halloumi, cut into 1cm thick slices
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika, optional

Method

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 200C.

  2. Pat the halloumi dry using kitchen paper, brush the slices with olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste. If you’re using paprika, sprinkle onto the oiled halloumi.

  3. Place the halloumi into the air fryer and cook for 6 minutes or until it starts to brown. Flip over and cook for another 3-5 minutes or until completely crispy and golden.

  4. Carefully remove and serve how you desire!
