Herby and extra crispy, our air fryer new potatoes are quick, simple and a delicious side dish for meat and fish. Ready in 20 mins.

We’ve seasoned our new potatoes with paprika, Cajun, rosemary and salt and pepper, but you can coat with your favourite seasonings and enjoy perfectly crisp potatoes that are ready to be served with every meal. By cooking in the air fryer, you’re using much less oil, making these air fryer baby potatoes healthier than roasting in the oven.

What you'll need...

  • 1kg new potatoes, whole or halved depending on your preference
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp Cajun seasoning
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp fresh rosemary leaves, or dried rosemary

Method

  1. Place the new potatoes in a mixing bowl and rub them with olive oil, ensuring complete coverage. Add the rosemary leaves, garlic powder, paprika, Cajun seasoning, salt and pepper. Mix until the potatoes are evenly coated

  2. Spray the air fryer basket with oil and tip the potatoes inside, ensuring there’s no overlapping or touching for optimal crispness. Air fry for 15 mins at 200C, shaking the basket halfway through. 

  3. Test the doneness by piercing with a fork and cook for a further 2 mins if needed. 

  4. Once done, remove from the basket and serve alongside your main dish.
