Using your air fryer to poach eggs is a fantastic alternative to the traditional method that can prove challenging for some. All you need is ramekins, olive oil and eggs for this super easy yet tasty poached eggs in air fryer recipe. Serve on toast and with avocado for a healthy breakfast or brunch.

What you'll need...

  • 4 eggs
  • 3 tbsp hot water, per egg
  • Olive oil, for greasing the ramekins

Method

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 180C. 

  2. Lightly grease or spray each ramekin with olive oil. 

  3. Add the hot water to each ramekin and gently crack an egg into the water. 

  1. Carefully place ramekins in the air fryer basket and air fry for 6-8 minutes or until the yolk reaches your desired doneness. 

  2. Once cooked, remove the ramekins and use a rubber spatula to carefully slide the egg from the ramekins. 

  3. Place your air fryer poached eggs on your toast and serve alongside your favourite toppings. We really love topping smoked salmon and toast with a perfectly cooked poached egg! Season with salt and pepper before tucking in.
