Our stuffing in air fryer recipe is utterly delicious, making our crispy, bacon wrapped stuffing balls the perfect side dish for roast dinners and Christmas lunch.

Free up space in the oven with this quick and simple air fryer stuffing recipe that’ll make crispy-on-the-outside, yet moist-on-the-inside stuffing balls. You can make these all year round, just be sure to serve with plenty of gravy and all the trimmings!

What you'll need...

  • 1 packet of dried stuffing mix
  • 2 x 350g packs of seasonal pork sausage meat
  • Zest of 1 clementine
  • 6 rashers of streaky bacon
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh sage leaves, to garnish

Method

  1. Make the stuffing mix according to the packet instructions and set aside to cool. 

  2. Add the sausage meat, stuffing mix and zest to a bowl. Season with salt and pepper and mix thoroughly to combine. Divide the mixture and roll into 6 balls. Slice the rashers lengthways and wrap them around the balls like gifts. 

  3. Air fry at 170C for 25 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve hot, garnished with fresh sage leaves.
