Blend beetroot, strawberries, raspberries, banana and coconut to enjoy this tasty and healthy smoothie.
Full of healthy goodness and contributing towards your 5 a day, our strawberry and beetroot smoothie not only looks fantastically red but is dairy-free and perfect for vegans.
What you'll need...
- 1 punnet of strawberries, hulled and chopped
- 1 punnet of raspberries
- 1 banana
- 1-2 tsp beetroot powder
- Handful of ice
- 100ml coconut milk
- Coconut water
Method
Prepare the fruit by hulling and chopping the strawberries.
Add the fruit, beetroot powder, ice and coconut milk to the blender and blend at a low speed until smooth, continuing to add coconut water until you reach your desired consistency.
Turn up the power if needed. Stop once smooth and pour into a glass to enjoy.
