Full of healthy goodness and contributing towards your 5 a day, our strawberry and beetroot smoothie not only looks fantastically red but is dairy-free and perfect for vegans.

What you'll need...

  • 1 punnet of strawberries, hulled and chopped
  • 1 punnet of raspberries
  • 1 banana
  • 1-2 tsp beetroot powder
  • Handful of ice
  • 100ml coconut milk
  • Coconut water

Method

  1. Prepare the fruit by hulling and chopping the strawberries. 

  2. Add the fruit, beetroot powder, ice and coconut milk to the blender and blend at a low speed until smooth, continuing to add coconut water until you reach your desired consistency.  

  3. Turn up the power if needed. Stop once smooth and pour into a glass to enjoy.
